What's Blooming Around Town & Kenny Chesney

When I lived in New Hampshire, I collected photos of island scenery to help me through the long, cold winters. Here's hoping these photos bring you a short respite from your long winter. And to really get into the island mood, click on the link to hear Kenny Chesney singing about life in the little latitudes.

Don't know their name, but these grow on a bush and hang down.
Sweet little pink flowers that I found on a back street near the beach.

Another hanging flower and also large like the yellow flowers.

Pink hibiscus ~ a new addition to my back yard.

Gardenia. They grow on a big bush and the first time I rode by them, I was
engulfed in the most delightful fragrance!

This sweet little flower grows in the dunes at the ocean.

Downtown flower display. Yes, they're impatiens.
It really is a village by the sea.

Pug At The Beach, An island dog's reflections on life

And here's one more thing you can do to keep inspired until the warmer days of summer. This book has been called the bible for inspired and mindful living.

Make it a beach day today, whatever that looks like for you!
