What's Blooming In The Yard Right Now
After 25 years of living in New England where the month of November typically sports cold morning temperatures and trees striped bare of their leaves, South Florida offers a welcomed change of landscape.
Many years ago I held a dream in my heart which consisted of spending the fall and winter months in a warmer climate drinking my early morning coffee outdoors amongst tropical flowers. Now that dream is a reality.
To create that reality hard work was in order. To keep uplifted during that hard work I relied on tropical images as a part of my daily meditation. I offer you these photographs of what's blooming in my yard right now to use in your own daily meditation whether your goal is to move, become stress free or simply to enjoy the beauty of nature to keep you in sync with what's important in your own life.

These orchids are growing in a wooden basket under the shelter of a coconut tree.

Even though the colors are darker, this orchid is part of the same plant above. Notice the banana tree behind it.

Desert Rose. While I don’t know much about it, I do know I like to look at it while I’m swimming in the pool.

White Bird of Paradise. This one is nestled in amongst several coconut trees.

This hibiscus is almost pedestrian compared to the other flowers but it’s special in its own right.
My wish for you is that you will hold your own very special dream in your heart and then work to make it a reality. You can do it. Lots of other people have, you can too.
